LAST CHANCE TO COMMENT ON MMS 2007-12 LEASE SALE PLAN!

 In  Spite of the terrible Gulf of Mexico spill, America still needs oil and gas.  If we don't obtain it domestically, we will send our jobs and money to foreign exporters in order to purchase theirs.  The adult in the room, I think, would not underestimate or overreact to the Gulf spill.  He would say, "Let's do what we can to minimize damage, compensate those who were damaged, take action to assure it doesn't happen again and continue to develop robust, domestic, oil and gas leasing programs."  -dh

New York Times’ energy correspondent Jad Mouawad writes, “But whatever the magnitude of the spill at the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig, 50 miles off the coast of Louisiana, it is unlikely to seriously impede offshore drilling in the Gulf. The country needs the oil — and the jobs.
