This Tuesday night, at 8:00pm, the Senator's body will be moved from where it lies in repose at All Saints Episcopal to Anchorage Baptist Temple for ceremonies on Wednesday.
Word has gone out that it would be appropriate (even encouraged) to line the procession route. For more information, please see the event page:

The public is invited to pay respects to the Senator between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM.

PROCESSION FROM ALL SAINTS EPISCOPAL CHURCH TO ANCHORAGE BAPTIST TEMPLE
Following the closure of public visitation at All Saints Episcopal Church, there will be a motorcade procession which will take Sen. Stevens from All Saints Episcopal Church to the Anchorage Baptist Temple.
The procession is scheduled to depart at 8:00PM and utilize the following route through Anchorage:
From All Saints Church,
West on 8th Ave to L St
L St as it becomes Minnesota Blvd.
Left on Benson
Northern Lights to Anchorage Baptist Temple
The public are encouraged to pay respects to Sen. Stevens by lining the procession route. The public and media are encouraged to utilize the overpasses near West High School, at UAA Drive, and near East High School.
There will be designated press areas for coverage of the arrival of the procession at Anchorage Baptist Temple.

INFORMATION FOR THE PUBLIC REGARDING THE WEDNESDAY SERVICE:
There will be no public parking allowed at Anchorage Baptist Temple . Limited disability parking will be available. Those interested in disability parking should call (907) 249 0249.
The public is advised to park at the Tikahtnu Commons parking lot between Lowes and Kohls and board shuttle busses to Anchorage Baptist Temple . Busses will depart at the east end of the parking field. Use of public transportation and car pooling is strongly encouraged.
The public is also advised of heavy traffic on Northern Lights Blvd and Baxter Road before and after the funeral services.
Doors at Anchorage Baptist Temple will open to the public at 12:00PM.
Busses from Tikahtnu Commons will begin departing for Anchorage Baptist Temple at 12:00PM.

A limited number of credentialed print reporters and still photographers will be allowed inside the auditorium for funeral services in designated press areas.
Media must present credentials at Anchorage Baptist Temple for check-in at 12:00PM.
There will be reserved media parking at Anchorage Baptist Temple. Media must also RSVP for parking.
Television crews will pull their coverage of the services from Anchorage Baptist Temple’s pool. Please contact Alan Prevo at (907) 360 7786 to discuss technical coverage details. No television crews will be allowed inside the Anchorage Baptist Temple auditorium.
